A concert by Wayne Hankin is an unforgettable event and his impact on concertgoers of all ages is legendary. Wayne brings to the stage years of accomplished performance combined with a varied repertory performed on many strange, unusual instruments. 

Wayne offers 2 programs for 2008

 7 Solos, an instrumental performance enlisting an unusual range of 
instruments: hornpipe, clay flute (4-holed ocarina), hümmelchen (small bagpipe), 
recorder, trump (jawharp), double pipes and bone flute. All original music and 
arrangements are by Mr. Hankin. The concert draws music spanning 9 centuries; 
medieval, renaissance, baroque, contemporary and traditional.
This 45 minute recital can be performed in nearly any public or private 
environment; concert halls, performance spaces, theaters, alternative arts centers, 
and private recitals for the home, This concert can stand alone or combine with 
another artist. It can also be performed 1- 3 times daily which is ideal and versatile 
in a festival environment.

 Three by 2 features the brilliant artistry of pianist Jacqueline Schwab. In this concert, three sets are performed by two artists. The first set is Ms Schwab's solo set which focuses on Americana of the 19th Century. Jacqueline establishes an intimate connection to her audience with her special blend of friendly commentary. The second set is Wayne's mysterious 7 Solos and the third set combines both artists, with music spanning 9 centuries from medieval to modern featuring, the piano with tenor recorder, soprano crumhorn, hammered dulcimer, renaissance flute and soprano rauspfeiffe.
